Conservation Reserve Enhancement Program (CREP)
CREP provides substantial financial incentives to landowners wishing to establish forested buffers on agricultrual lands along streams. Fields and pastures along navigable streams are planted with trees to reduce run off and provide habitat.

Local influenza providers are gearing up for vaccination clinics now. Predicting when flu season will start is difficult and varies from year to year, but typically influenza circulates in our area by December. Seasonal influenza vaccination is the most important way of preventing seasonal influenza virus infections and potentially severe complications, including death.
