Medicare Part D Information

Beginning January 1, 2006, the Medicare program will be expanded to include prescription drug coverage. This new benefit will be known as Medicare "Part D". Medicare Part D will provide coverage for a variety of prescription drugs that have never been covered by the Medicare program before.

If you're like most people you are already aware that the cost of prescription drugs has been rising and will probably continue to do so. Medicare Part D was created in hopes of helping Medicare participants decrease the cost of their out of pocket medication costs.

If you already have prescription drug coverage you'll want to compare your current plan to the plans offered through Medicare Part D. If you don't have any prescription drug coverage it would be beneficial for you to look into the plans offered through Medicare Part D.

If you would like further information please fill out the form below, or e-mail or call Bayfield County's Benefit Specialist at (715) 373-6144 x128.
