Bayfield County Fair Royalty

The Bayfield County Fair Fair Royalty program had a successful first year, so the Fair Committee will continue the program that will provide a scholarship and other prizes for the contest winner as well as more visibility for the Fair. The contest is open to Bayfield County youth ages 13-18. Contestants will submit an application that includes a summary of their community involvement as well as write an essay. Contestants will also sell reduced price season passes to the Fair ($20 instead of $25) and participate in parades over the summer.
Winners will be determined based on a number of factors including level of community involvement, quality of essay, academic status, and the number of tickets sold. Applications are available at area libraries, at the Fair office at the courthouse in Washburn (117 E. Fifth Street, 1st floor) or download them here:
