Home Health Care Services
Based in Bayfield County; Serving Bayfield County
Home Health Care is care brought into the home to restore and/or maintain a person’s health.It is available to all ages.The care is provided on a part-time or intermittent basis. The person must be confined to the home, but not necessarily bed-ridden.
A Registered Nurse, under the direction of a Physician will teach, train and assess acute medical conditions in the home. The nurse performs procedures such as;
- Wound care
- Catheterization
- Tracheostomy care
- IV therapy
- Colostomy care
- Injections & diabetes treatments
Restorative Therapies:
Bayfield County offers home Physical, Occupational & Speech Therapies.
Home Health Aide Services are utilized when the person is currently being seen by an RN and/or Therapist. The Aide assists with such tasks as bathing & exercises. All Bayfield County home health aides are certified & registered in the State of Wisconsin.
The Bayfield County Care Program is a Medicare certified, non-profit agency.
