Mission Statement
The Bayfield County Tourism and Recreation Department’s mission is to strengthen the economic well-being of Bayfield County by aggressively promoting responsible, year-round tourism and to protect, preserve and enhance our recreational trails.
Many publications are available including:

- Bayfield County Snowmobile Map
- Bayfield County ATV Map
- Bayfield County Road & Public Lands Map
Bayfield County's Local Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (LCORP) is also available. This plan serves as a guide for the development of existing and future outdoor recreation areas and facilities in the county to meet the recreational needs of its residents and visitors.
The Department also organizes and manages an educational and entertaining annual county fair.
