NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Bayfield County Zoning Committee of the County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on January 15, 2002 at 6:00 P.M. in the Board Room of the Bayfield County Courthouse in Washburn Wisconsin relative to the following:
Petition of Karl Kastrosky, Bayfield County Zoning Administrator, on behalf of the Bayfield County Zoning Committee, to the Bayfield County Zoning Committee and Bayfield County Board of Supervisors to amend the Bayfield County Zoning Ordinance (Chapter 13-1 of the Bayfield County Code of Ordinances) to include Section 13-1-43 creating standards and regulations for Wireless Telecommunications Facilities, including provisions pertaining to: Areas In Which Telecommunication Facility Location is Permitted With Conditional Use Approval, Areas In Which Telecommunication Facility Location is Prohibited, Conditional Use Applications, Information Reports, Removal and Security for Removal, Preexisting Telecommunication Towers and Antennas, Compliance, Structural, Design and Environmental Standards, Separation and Setback Requirements, and Permits. Karl Kastrosky, Bayfield County Zoning Administrator, on behalf of the Bayfield County Zoning Committee, hereby petitions the Bayfield County Zoning Committee and Bayfield County Board of Supervisors to amend the Bayfield County Zoning Ordinance (Chapter 13-1-62 of the Bayfield County Code of Ordinances) as set forth in the proposed amendments attached hereto.
Revision: Allow use by Conditional Use Permit in an Agricultural-1 (Ag-1) and Forestry-1 (F-1) zone for homes, old age, children, maternity, nursing, etc.
Proposed Amendment to Bayfield County Zoning Ordinance Section 13-1-62 to Comply with Section 59.69(15) Stats.
Add the following footnote to the “home, old age, children, maternity, nursing, etc.” entry in the classification table:
Community living arrangements, foster homes, treatment foster homes, and adult family homes covered by Section 59.69(15) Stats. shall be governed by that subsection rather than by this entry in the classification table. The procedures to be provided under paragraphs (d) and (e) therein shall be the procedure for seeking a conditional use permit.
All interested parties are invited to attend said hearing to be heard. Immediately after the public hearing, the Zoning Committee will hold its regular monthly meeting.
