Clean water, lush landscapes, quiet solitude, a multitude of wildlife, and great fishing await you as you paddle along the federally protected Namekagon River. The Namekagon River is part of the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway, a unit of your National Park System. Put in at one of the many landings along the river for a short paddle or a long trip, and check out the numerous campsites located along the entire river.
Call the visitor centers or check the NPS website for updated river levels and maps.
Also, there is a new website that shows lots of things to see and do along the Namekagon River portion of the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway including guides and lodging.
