Just the Bear Facts

Thursday, January 16, 2020

Scott Walter, Large Carnivore Specialist for the Wisconsin DNR, will describe the ecology of one of Wisconsin's most recognizable wildlife species- the American Black Bear. Attendees will also explore the numerous ways in which humans and bears intersect in Wisconsin, and learn about new approaches to black bear management defined in the state's revised Black Bear Management Plan. Doors open at 6:15pm to view displays. Presentation begins at 7pm. Free and open to the public. Presented by the Friends of North Pikes Creek Wetlands.
