Healthy Living with Diabetes Class

Healthy Living with Diabetes is a workshop designed to help adults with type 2 diabetes, pre-diabetes, or their helper learn self-management skills and increase their confidence in managing their diabetes. It meets once a week for six weeks for 2 ½ hours each session. Techniques are learned to deal with the symptoms of diabetes including exercise, medication concerns, healthy eating, relaxation, communication skills, and more. It supplements medical care, helping to decrease blood sugar levels and health care visits. There are two workshops scheduled in Bayfield County this spring:
