The Bayfield County Department of Human Services is seeking two Bayfield County residents to serve on the Coordinating Committee of our Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) program. CCS focuses on providing wraparound services to individuals with mental health and/or substance abuse needs. We are looking for a committee member who is a CCS participant and a committee member who is the family member of a participant or an interested community member who can advocate on behalf of CCS participants to serve on the committee. Preference may be given to an applicant with a connection to or experience with the CCS program. The CCS Coordinating Committee meets quarterly either in Washburn at the County Courthouse or in Ashland at the downtown Ashland County office. Meetings currently are being held virtually and hybrid, in-person and virtual meetings will be offered in the future. Transportation to meetings is the member’s responsibility; stipend and mileage reimbursement is available.
