Blues Traveler emerged in the late ‘80s and are best known for their improvisational shows and multi-platinum selling album four, which earned them a GRAMMY and features hit singles “Run-Around” and “Hook.” Throughout their career the band has released 20 full-length albums. Their most recent, Blow Up the Moon, features a range of artists representing country, pop, reggae and hip-hop.

Bayfield’s Concerts by the Lake take place every Tuesday, from June 19 through September 4, 2018 in Memorial Park. Music begins at 7pm.
In case of rain, the concert will be held at the Madeline Island Ferry Line terminal building, at the base of Washington Ave.
The concerts are free and open to the public.
Guests may wish to bring blankets or lawn chairs to the park.

The Cornucopia Business Association is introducing a new event for the summer!
An Outdoor Concert Series will take place every Thursday evening from 6-9 pm from June 30th through August 30th on the grounds of the Cornucopia Sweet Shop. (The Community Center will be bad weather back-up).
This is a family focused event so bring Grandma and the kids, some chairs and a picnic if you wish and get ready to enjoy some local music. All of the bands will be local or be locally connected. After a busy day come and relax and enjoy the summer evenings.

All events will be free to the public so we need some support.
A $300.00 sponsorship will carry one concert and you can get some exposure for your business or cause.
Your group or business will be highlighted at the event and be on flyers and the web site for the concert.

65 Artists from throughout the Midwest will gather on Saturday, July 21 from 10am to 5pm and Sunday, July 22 from 10am to 4pm at Bayfield’s 56th annual Festival of Arts.
This juried arts & crafts show is held in Memorial Park on the scenic shores of Lake Superior in downtown Bayfield. Visitors will find a unique selection of pottery, painting, jewelry, sculpture, glass works, wood carvings, photography and more.
A dozen local galleries and studios open their doors to visitors, offering tours, demonstrations and workshops, featuring multiple mediums and styles, including ceramics, painting, glass blowing and metalworks.

The Washburn Board Across the Bay Race is a unique Stand Up Paddle Board event that takes place on Lake Superior on Chequamegon Bay between Washburn and Ashland, Wisconsin. You can choose between the 3-mile, the 7-mile, or the 14-mile race.

A great family fun event. Rides, games, food, contests, music, and, of course, blueberries! Thursday is the talent show. Saturday evening the Blueberry Queen is crowned. Sunday begins with a Polka Mass at Moon Lake followed by a huge parade through town. Iron River Lions have sponsored this festival for 53 years.

Come show off your rib barbequing skills at the Barnes Area Historical Association's Bar B Que Ribfest cook-off competition! Ribs will be judged on appearance, tenderness, texture and taste. Entry fee is $20 - Pre-register by August 1st to guarantee your entry spot; however, late registration will be accepted. All entry money will be given out as prizes. Doors open at 12:00 PM for the public. There will be a Silent Auction, Meat Raffles, 50-50 Raffle and Bingo during the day. Tickets will be sold for public rib testing after the judging at 4:00 PM.
