    Bayfield’s Concerts by the Lake take place every Tuesday, from June 23 through September 8, 2020 in Memorial Park. Music begins at 7pm. In case of rain, the concert will be held at the Madeline Island Ferry Line terminal building, at the base of Washington Ave. The concerts are free and open to the public. Guests may wish to bring blankets or lawn chairs to the park.

  3. MS Golf Benefit

    July 17, 2020, All Day @ Lakewoods Resort

    Lakewoods Forest Ridges Golf Course will be hosting the Annual Saw-Bay-Ash MS Golf Benefit. This tournament has been an astounding success. The event has raised over $250,000 to help those people afflicted with Multiple Sclerosis. “Every year it astonishes me the generosity and commitment people show toward this event,” says Kathy Rasmussen, Co-Chairman, “We will again see more than 100 contributors pledge their money and services to help the benefit.” The event sees over 25 four-person teams from around the country compete in a scramble format for thousands of dollars in prizes, raffles and auction items. Open to anyone excited about the cause, it is a truly rewarding event. “It is because of the strong community support and efforts of the people in these three counties that we contribute the success of the event,” said Kathy Rasmussen, “but let’s not forget the participants from Texas, Indiana and those who traveled from all over the Mid-West to help.”

  7. CANCELED- Bayfield Festival of Arts & Gallery Tour

    This juried fine arts show is held in Memorial Park on the scenic shores of Lake Superior in downtown Bayfield. Visitors will find a unique selection of pottery, painting, jewelry, sculpture, glass works, wood carvings, photography and more. Take special notice of the blue “Best in Show” ribbons, which are awarded to artists in five categories, while browsing. In addition to the festival in Memorial Park, guests are invited to experience art in the making during the Festival of Arts Gallery Tour on Saturday and Sunday. Local galleries and working studios will welcome visitors throughout the weekend with open houses, demonstrations, and special sales as part of this tour. Watch local artists perform wheel-thrown pottery techniques and witness silver smithing, painting and quilting demonstrations.

  21. CANCELLED- Port Wing Plein Air Painting Festival

    July 30, 2020, 8:00 AM - August 2, 2020, 5:00 PM @ Port Wing Town Hall

    Four Day Outdoor Painting Event Paint Thursday and Friday. Saturday morning is an optional Quick Paint Event in which the artist has 90 minutes to complete a painting in the harbor area. After the Quick Paint, artists have an hour and a half to finish framing their works and bring them to the Town Hall for hanging and judging. The exhibit is open Saturday from 3:00 pm to 7:00pm. Awards are announced around 3:15 pm. The exhibit is open again Sunday from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Artists can remove their paintings after 1:00pm.

    The next co-parenting education class presented by Extension Ashland and Bayfield Counties will be a live Zoom video conference on, Monday, July 20, 2020 from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm. An internet connection, webcam, microphone and active participation are required to certify course completion. Registered students only. After you register you will receive a link to join the class. Online registration and payment is required by the Thursday before the class. The fee of $15.00 is to partially cover our costs for the program.* *To reduce financial burden on families due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, this class is being offered at a reduced price.
