The Port Wing Saturday Market started 6 years ago with a handful of vendors.
It has grown into a fun shopping place to hang out on Saturday mornings from May to October. The focus of the Port Wing Saturday Market is fresh, locally grown produce, plants and flowers. Our local farmers grow a wide variety of your favorite veggies and fruits. They also sell maple syrup, jams, jellies, farm fresh eggs & meats.
Not only do we have fresh local produce, we offer local artists the opportunity to showcase their art: handmade books, stone and beaded jewelry, wood-carved and wood-turned spoons and other utensils, pottery, soaps and lotions, knitted hats & mittens, handwoven rag-rugs, bird paintings on wood and funny signs, just right for your cabin or guesthouse.

Please join the Madeline Island Historical Preservation Association immediately following the Memorial Day Ceremony at the Town Dock. We will walk from the Town Dock up Colonel Woods Avenue to the MIHPA Heritage Center. There we will gather around the Veteran's Honor Garden for a flag raising ceremony, songs by the summer choir and the laying of new pavers in the Honor Garden. Following the ceremony light refreshments will be served.

The annual Rumble on the Lake "The Biggest Little Ride in America" is back for it's 7th year! You are invited to join us for another fantastic northwoods adventure May 31 & June 1. Please plan to join us on Friday for an all day Poker Run around Lake Namakagon, as well as our kick-off party at Four Seasons Resort at 7pm with live music, drink specials and activities. The main event will take place on Saturday at Ammo's Evergreen on Lake Namakagon from 5-9pm with music and food catered by the Brick House Cafe and Catering. The routes we specifically design ROTL are approximately 150 miles. In the past, riders experienced the shores of Lake Superior, the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, and the heart of northern WI!
