October 15, 2019, All Day @ Rivers Eatery
Mick & Beth Endersbe of the Rivers Eatery will graciously donate their net proceeds for the evening to the Cable-Namakagon Historical Museum. The evening will include a continual showing of a power point presentation "Cable Then & Now" that features photos highlighting businesses and scenes as they were in the early 1900s and as they are now, along with images from this year's 2nd. Annual Vintage Cycle Tour. Singer and performer Nathan Rondeau, a one man band will be the entertainment with original music playing the guitar, drum, tambourine and harmonica.
The Historical Museum opened in 2005 and is housed in what was originally a potato warehouse built in 1905. Throughout the years, the building became connected to the lumber yard that is now the Cable Lumber Co. The Bob & Corinne Rasmussen family, owners of Cable Lumber & Home, donated the building for the Museum. Currently the Museum has a variety of exhibits with photos and artifacts depicting the history of Cable.
