Fine Arts/Crafts for gift giving

An experience you'll remember always. Who'd expect to see a Gallery such as this in the middle of the Northern Wisconsin woods. Come and be Amazed. Come to the Gallery and be amazed at what we have. A 3rd generation glassblowing family. Stained glass, fused glass, glass sculpture and blown glass.

Each year approximately 30 local businesses participate in the Shop Hop. We will be mailing a Shop Hop Passport to residents in Bayfield, Washburn and La Pointe the week of Thanksgiving. Take your Passport to participating businesses and get it stamped at as many possible. There is no purchase required, you just have to stop in and get a stamp. Passports are available at participating businesses, the Bayfield Chamber & Visitor Bureau, and online. Drop the stamped passport off at the Bayfield Chamber and Visitor Bureau for the chance to win one of two holiday gift baskets and gift certificates for local businesses.

Experience a magical holiday getaway in Bayfield and celebrate the spirit of the Christmas season with festive choral music and a holiday meal with all the trimmings. Old Rittenhouse Inn is decorated with pine boughs, twinkling lights, and a Concolor Fir Christmas Tree adorned with hundreds of antique ornaments. Wassail Lunch (12-Noon) and Dinner (6:30pm) Concerts feature the Rittenhouse Singers, who perform throughout the dining room and the Inn’s main staircase. Highlights include the “Boar’s Head” and the traditional “Flaming of the Figgy Pudding.”

The area lights up the first weekend of December for an annual Holiday celebration! Enjoy breakfast with Santa, a huge craft fair, Christmas Cookie Bazaar,and shopping specials at local stores.

Join us for a Holiday Boutique at Legendary Waters Resort & Casino, featuring a variety of arts and crafts along with homemade baked goods.

Event for the Whole Family! Enjoy a Pancake Breakfast in Lakewoods Lakeside Dining Room. Santa arrives from the North Pole around 9:30 am for pictures with all the good little boys and girls. We also have Hayrides around the resort with stops by "Grandma's house" for hot cocoa and cookies.

Guests will enjoy demonstrations, refreshments, special promotions and sales at our local galleries, featuring handmade jewelry, pottery, paintings, quilting and more. With so many unique stores, galleries, and boutiques, you’ll find something right here in Bayfield for everyone on your gift list! This event is free and open to the public.

For one day only, the Friends of the Center invite you to a homemade holiday bazaar. You'll find locally made gifts for everyone on your list. Artisan soaps, decorations for your home, holiday treats and so much more. Fifty vendors will be on site to share their goods. Santa will be visiting from 11am-1pm. Applications for vendors will be received beginning on October 1. Please contact Donna at shop@nglvc.org for an application.

White Winter Winery presents A Dickens of a Christmas! Dinner from 6-9 pm. Jan Lee and Tom Mitchell, local actors, breathe life into their adaptation of Charles Dicken’s, A Christmas Carol. Guests enjoy a five course Victorian-style meal paired with White Winter Winery mead, ciders, and spirits. A Dickens of a Christmas! is a fundraiser for the Iron River Library. Seating limited.
