    Come meet one of the artists whose work is featured in this season's special exhibit WIIGWAAZII: THE EVOLVING TRADITIONS OF BIRCH Dr. Lajimodiere, assistant professor at North Dakota State University School of Education, is a traditional jingle dress dancer, current board member (and past president) of the National Native American Boarding School Healing Coalition and author of three books of poetry (“Dragonfly Dance,” “Thunderbird,” and “Bitter Tears”).

  4. Sunday Summer Serenades

    Summer 2019 marks the Rookery’s 8th full season of live outdoor music, with free performances every Sunday afternoon from June 16 thru September 29. On music Sundays we feature a special outdoor patio menu. Food is served beginning at 1:30 and the music runs from 2-5. All outdoor seating is first come first served so we recommend you arrive early to secure your spot. The music goes on, rain or shine! We simply bring things indoors should weather conditions prove too harsh for our outdoor covered pavilion.
