The AARP Foundation, Bayfield County Dept. of Aging, the IRS and the Wisconsin Dept. of Revenue is offering free tax preparation for individuals of all ages and income levels on Tuesdays Feb. 4-Apr. 14, 2020, from 8:30am-5:30pm in the lower level of the Bayfield County Courthouse in Washburn. Follow the red arrow signs. This is a walk-in site with handicap and senior friendly parking available at the 6th street entrance by the Courtroom. Returns will be prepared on a first come, first served basis. Follow the link below for further information for both Bayfield and Ashland County sites.

Medicare 101 presentations will introduce attendees to the basics of Medicare, as well as give you the information you need to know before making decisions about enrolling in Medicare. If you are turning 65 this year, attending one of these trainings is strongly encouraged. Presentations are happening throughout Bayfield County at various locations/dates/times.
